Terms of Service — Initial Draft
This is a placeholder ahead of formal legal review. It aims to share the MVP's information architecture and responsibility boundaries.
Neris is an MVP that incrementally builds consent, licensing, commerce, and revenue sharing. During internal testing, we ensure major flows can be safely traced from both public pages and dashboards.
2. Creator Responsibilities
Creators must only register Visual Assets they hold rights to, and must accurately declare identity verification information and license terms.
3. Buyer Responsibilities
Buyers must comply with the Agreement and License Rules at the time of purchase, and submit Usage Reports or extended use requests as needed.
4. Violation Handling
Actions violating License Rules — including reports of infringement, unauthorized external use, defamation, political use, or adult content — are subject to review and may result in suspension or contract termination.
5. Copyright Infringement (DMCA Policy)
If you believe your copyrighted work has been used without authorization on or through Neris, please send a notice to abuse@neris.jp with: (1) identification of the copyrighted work, (2) identification of the infringing material and its location, (3) your contact information, (4) a statement of good faith belief that the use is unauthorized, and (5) a statement under penalty of perjury that the information is accurate. Counter-notifications may be submitted by users who believe content was removed in error.
6. Repeat Infringer Policy
Neris will terminate or suspend accounts of users who are determined to be repeat infringers. Repeated violations of License Rules or multiple valid copyright complaints will result in permanent account termination.
